Other Info: So… Valerian has a notorious reputation for smelling a bit funky. Officially it is described as pungent, unofficially dirty socks is thrown around. That smell is a great sign that there is lots of the good stuff in the bottle! I gave a bottle to a family member who was having some trouble sleeping and when I followed up with her she said she didn’t try it. I asked why and she said the minute she took the cap off, the condo filled with “the smell”. They ended up having to put it outside!
I think she though it might hurt my feelings, but it was completely the opposite! I take that as a compliment. Thanks RB!
While I will admit it is a but funky it is one of our best-selling items and no one else has complained quite like that. I personally like it but I also get called weird a lot….
Its kind of like that cough syrup that tastes awful but works!
